It's Friday, July 31st, 2026.

By LaQuita Burden, RN, BSN

Hello All, It's Friday, July 31, 2026, and I pray that each of you has a blessed, peaceful, and restorative weekend.

Life can be rough sometimes. We all face challenges, disappointments, setbacks, and moments when the weight of responsibility feels heavy. But through it all, we're still here. We're still living, still growing, still learning, and still being given the opportunity to make a difference each day.

One thing I want everyone to remember is the importance of accountability. Accountability is not about blame; it's about ownership. It's about having the courage to acknowledge our actions, learn from our mistakes, and continue moving forward with integrity. Growth begins when we stop making excuses and start embracing responsibility for the choices we make.  Please remember to give yourselves grace.

None of us are perfect.

We are all works-in-progress. What matters is that we keep showing up, keep striving to be better, and keep treating one another with kindness, respect, and compassion. As you enjoy your weekend, take time to rest, recharge, and cherish the people you love. Life is precious, and tomorrow is never promised. Be grateful for today, find joy in the small moments, and come back next week ready to continue making a positive impact.  Thank you for all that you do.
